Benefits of 1-1 Healthy Pregnancy Coaching
There are a lot of reasons to work privately with a prenatal nutritionist or healthy pregnancy coach like me. Here are a few:
- Reduce your risk for many pregnancy complications.
- Address pregnancy symptoms and issues while still small to reduce frequency and severity.
- Get a targeted plan for supporting your pregnancy health, not just a huge laundry list of general tips.
- As-needed personal support from an expert on a variety of pregnancy topics.
- Session times are set to fit your schedule.
- Time-efficient: no interactions with a group and minimal “social niceties.”
- All sessions are focused 100% on you.
FAQ
Are sessions in-person or virtual?
Most sessions are virtual. If you live in the Atlanta area, we have the option of meeting in the Roswell area for in-person sessions.
What would we work on?
Our focus working together would be on improving your health in whatever ways it needs. There are 5 main areas recommendations would come from: Nutrition, Exercise, Relaxation, Decisions, and Support – abbreviated NERDS. If it impacts your health, it is fair game for us to discuss and possibly change. 🙂
Do you attend births?
It has been some years since I attended any births as a labor support doula. I will consider it for clients residing in the northern part of metro Atlanta.
Will you coordinate with my OB/midwife?
I welcome all opportunities to collaborate and coordinate care with your OB, midwife, perinatologist, or other health professionals. I will ensure that your recommendations and plan are written so you can share with them regardless of whether or not they have time to communicate with me directly.
Do you replace my OB/midwife?
Absolutely not! It is essential for you to have a doctor or midwife overseeing the health of you and your baby during your pregnancy. The nutrition and lifestyle support I provide is designed to enhance your prenatal care, not substitute for it.
Do I have to be pregnant?
Not at all. When I have space in my practice, I also work with adults who are not pregnant on a variety of other health conditions or general health improvement. Set up a consultation to discuss your situation.

Not Sure If This is Right For You?
Working with me 1-1 is not for:
- People with life-threatening pregnancy complications that are likely to need induction, cesarean, or other emergency intervention within a matter of days.
- Anyone who does not have a doctor or midwife overseeing their pregnancy.
- Anyone who is unwilling to make changes to eating and lifestyle habits.
- People outside the United States (Sorry! Maybe in the future).
I reserve the right to not work with anyone if I determine their case is beyond my current level of expertise, my help would not provide enough benefit, or there is a personality conflict. I support acceptance of all types of people, and do my best to be inclusive of race, religion, and gender identity.
